Creating a new project
"Projects" are essentially groups that allow you to organize assets. Assets can be added to these projects, while users belonging to the project can work as a group and edit such assets collaboratively. This tutorial uses the free, web-based phpMyAdmin database management tool to create and modify the new project.

Step 1.

Connect to the SLAM database server by logging into phpmyadmin using the database username and password.

Step 2.

Select the SLAM database from the list on the left hand side of the page.

Step 3.

Select the "SLAM_Projects" category from the list of categories on the left.

Step 4.

Click on the "Insert" button at the top of the menu bar.

Step 5.

Enter the name of the project, and click "Go".

Step 6.

To add a user to a Project, click on the "SLAM_Users" category on the left.

Click "edit" on the user you'd like to add to the project.

Add the project to the user's "group" field, separated by a comma

Click "Go" when finished to save your edits.
